“To provide for those who grieve—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”

A place of safety, support, and new beginnings for women and children facing homelessness.

At Cornerstone’s Women and Children’s Home, we provide a secure and welcoming environment where families can regain stability, access vital resources, and begin the journey toward independence. ABOUT  THE  HOME

Opened in 2005, the Women & Children’s Home provides a safe, stable place for women and their children experiencing homelessness. With the capacity to serve up to 68 women and children, the home exists to offer more than shelter — it offers consistency, care, and the space to begin healing.

Families who come to the home often face barriers such as poverty, lack of affordable housing, limited transportation, or missing documentation. At Cornerstone, we walk alongside residents through structure, accountability, and compassionate support, helping them work toward stability and independence.

The home is led by Program Manager Amanda Piochena, whose dedication and leadership have helped shape a welcoming, well-run environment where women and children are treated with dignity and care. As a Christian ministry, we strive to make the home a place of safety, hope, and restoration.
