MEN'S MISSION

The Men’s Mission exists to walk alongside men who are rebuilding their lives. Through real relationships, accountability, and faith, men find stability, purpose, and a path forward. This is a place for growth, not judgment—and for change that lasts.

ABOUT

Located in downtown Rapid City, the Men’s Mission provides a safe, structured environment for men experiencing homelessness. The Mission offers emergency shelter, daily meals, and individualized case management to address immediate needs while supporting long-term stability and independence.

The Men’s Mission includes 60 emergency shelter beds, with 15 designated for veterans, and seasonal capacity for up to 40 additional cots or mats during winter months. At full capacity, the Mission can serve up to 100 men overnight, ensuring safety during extreme weather.

Guests also have access to spiritual care, chapel services, and optional faith-based programming offered in a respectful setting. Daily structure and shared responsibilities foster accountability, routine, and community as men work toward stability and independence.

CHAPEL

A PLACE OF HOPE & REST

For many men, the chapel becomes more than just a room—it becomes a turning point. A place to be still, to ask hard questions, and to remember that hope, purpose, and healing are still possible.

It hosts a variety of faith-based opportunities throughout the week. Local pastors, church partners, and ministry volunteers offer Christ-centered classes and recovery support. Participation is always optional, and all guests are welcome—no matter where they are in their journey.

Join us for Getting Ahead, a class held in the chapel every Tuesday and Thursday that addresses the real challenges individuals experiencing homelessness face. The class is led by instructors from St. Vincent de Paul.

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28
